Mini Privates

Mini Privates

This is a 30-minute, one-on-one instruction with a Senior Coach. You do not need to be registered in a class to schedule a mini-private, but you must be 6 years old through 5th grade.

Cost: $50–$60 depending on the coach (payment due upon registration). You must also be up to date on your $65 annual registration fee.

Register online here.

A 72-hour notice is required to cancel for credit. There are no refunds or credits for missed Mini Privates.

Mini Privates will be listed and available for registration via the Parent Portal. You can view the schedule on the informational flyers page on our website as well.

Recreation

Open Gym

Open Gym — Check the portal for days and times we are offering Open Gym!

Open Gym is a non-instructional time for your child to practice skills independently and play with new kids of all ages in a fun and safe environment. Supervising coaches are CPR/First Aid certified. Open to Kindergarten-age children through Middle School for current students as well as the general public! Jump on the trampoline, practice a cartwheel, balance on the beam, and swing on the bars.

$20/hr or a make-up class token is required to attend. Pre-registration online is required at Gym East Landing | Customer Portal.

All kids must have an account on our Parent Portal to participate.

Cancellation: Cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled Open Gym date to receive credit or a make-up token back to your account. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled Open Gym date, there are no credits or make-up tokens returned to your account.

Open Gym Tips and Guidelines:

  • The business office and phone are not open during Open Gym time.
  • Tie all long hair back and remove socks and shoes before checking in.
  • The foam pit (Bellevue Gym) is not available during Open Gym.
  • One person on the trampolines and rings at a time.
  • No jumping off equipment to swing on the rope.
  • Only coaches and students are allowed on the gym floors.
Classes

Class Schedules & Class Selections

To register for classes, you must create an account on our Parent Portal (click here). From there, go to our class filters to make your class selection. Once you choose your class(es), it will come to us via a request. Once your request is approved, we will send you an email confirmation and email receipt for the credit card charge. If your credit card declines, your account will be charged a $10 credit card rejection fee, so please make sure it is current.

Tiny Tot Program

  • 18 months to 3-year-olds — Parent & Tot Class
  • 3-year-olds (must be potty trained/no pull-ups) — Grasshoppers

4-year-olds–Kindergarten (Skill-Based Program):

  • Crickets (beginners)
  • Bumblebees (Intermediate — must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)
  • Hummingbirds (Advanced — must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)

Girls Program (1st–5th Grade)

Beginner Levels

  • 1st & 2nd Grade Girls — Mini Bounders — Beginners
  • 1st–5th Grade Girls — Mini Bounder/Bounders — Beginners
  • 3rd–5th Grade Girls — Bounders — Beginners

Intermediate Level — Skill Test Required

  • 1st & 2nd Grade Girls — Mini Flips — Intermediate (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)
  • 1st–5th Grade Girls — Mini Flips/Flips — Intermediate (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)
  • 3rd–5th Grade Girls — Flips — Intermediate (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)

Intermediate/Advanced Level — Skill Test Required

  • 1st–5th Grade Girls — Aerials — Intermediate/Advanced (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)

Advanced Level — Skill Test Required

  • 1st–5th Grade Girls — Springers — Advanced (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)

Middle School Classes

6th–8th Grade Girls (all levels).

High School Classes

Girls — Bellevue Gym only (all levels).

Boys Program (1st–5th Grade)

  • 1st–5th Grade Boys — Mini Eagles/Eagles — Level 1 Beginner
  • 1st–5th Grade Boys — Falcons/Hawks — Level 2 (must pass a skill evaluation for this level to register)

Trial Classes

Trial classes are available for a trial class fee, and the class must have availability. If you are on a wait-list for a class and are contacted about an opening, you can request your first class be a trial to ensure it is a good fit for your child.

Policies

Dress Code

Attire

  • Gymnasts can wear a leotard or comfortable athletic clothing. Please do not wear two-piece outfits that show the midriff. Students may go barefoot or wear gymnastics shoes. Tie back shoulder-length or longer hair. Do not wear hard balls, barrettes, or jewelry during class, except stud earrings.
  • Clothing must not have buckles, snaps, or zippers.
  • T-shirts must stay tucked in during upside-down skills.
  • No gum, food, or drinks other than water are allowed during class.
Registration

Class Waitlist Procedure

Wait-List Policy

  • If a spot opens in a class, Gymnastics East will email the address on your Parent Portal account. You generally have two business days to respond before your child is removed from the wait-list.
  • Please do not call unless you have a specific email problem. Calling does not guarantee an offer. Reply by email because wait-list offers are not handled on-site.
  • To check your child's position, email registration@gymeast.com.
